Service Description

Circadian rhythm refers to the natural, internal process that regulates the sleep-wake cycle and repeats roughly every 24 hours. It's controlled by the body's biological clock, mainly influenced by light and darkness. This rhythm affects various physiological processes, including hormone release, body temperature, and metabolism. When our circadian rhythm is disrupted, either by irregular sleep patterns, shift work, or exposure to artificial light at night, it can negatively impact our health. Such disruptions have been linked to sleep disorders, mood disorders like depression, impaired cognitive function, weakened immune system, and an increased risk of chronic conditions such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. Maintaining a consistent sleep schedule, getting exposure to natural light during the day, and limiting exposure to artificial light at night can help regulate the circadian rhythm and promote overall health and well-being.


Cancellation Policy

A cancelled appointment delays our work. When you must cancel, please give me at least 24 hours notice. I am rarely able to fill a cancelled session unless I know at least 24 hours in advance. If you are unable to provide at least 24 hours notice when you cancel, you will be charged a $35 fee for your session unless I am able to fill it with another client. The only time I will waive this fee is in the event of serious or contagious illness or emergency. By signing below, you agree to this condition.
