Flower Essences Vs. Essential Oils

Most of us are familiar with essential oils. These come from the physical matter of the plant or fruit. The plant or fruit is steam distilled or squished to extract the oils, which can then be used therapeutically. Flower essences come from the vibrational aspect of the plant, and doesn't damage the plant.

Essential oils are often used for physical and mental/emotional challenges and can be used aromatically, internally or topically - if you are using a quality brand. Flower essences are best used on the mental/emotional and spiritual aspects and can be used internally or topically.

Dr. Edward Bach, often considered the 'father' of flower essences, noticed his patients had great results when he added flower essences as a component in their healing programs. He was able to dial in on more mental/emotional complaints than simply using medications alone. What can flower essences help with? Here are just a few items:

  • Anxiety

  • Motivation

  • Sadness

  • Grief

  • Depression

  • Decision making

  • Inspiration

  • Feeling more feminine

  • Calm a racing mind

  • Transition

  • Trauma

  • Feeling overwhelmed

  • Impatience

  • Feeling stuck

  • Lost the ability to laugh, be joyful

  • Broken heart

  • Aura boosting

And so much more. We use the Bach line of flower essences plus those native to Michigan. We've got ove 80 options in our office and the best part - they're inexpensive AND effective. You can put up to 6 flower essences in 1 remedy - which also keeps the cost down.
